Like a beautiful flower, full of colour but without scent, are the fine but fruitless, words of him who does not act accordingly. -Buddha

This quote from Buddha speaks to the idea that words are not enough to bring about meaningful change. Just as a flower without a scent is not likely to attract pollinators, so too are the words of someone who does not act on their own words unlikely to bring about meaningful change. Words are an important part of creating a better world, but they must be backed up by action in order to be truly effective. We must be mindful of our words and strive to act in accordance with them if we want to make a positive difference in the world.
