Privacy

We collect as little as possible, and we say plainly what we do collect.

• No accounts, no mailing list. You never need to sign up or give us an email address to read or use anything here.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see, in aggregate, which pages are useful and where visitors come from. It runs in cookieless mode by default: analytics storage is denied, so it sets no cookies and cannot tell returning browsers apart, and Google signals and ads personalisation are switched off. If you choose to switch analytics cookies on (the control is in the footer of every page), it sets the first-party _ga cookies to tell returning browsers apart; you can switch them off again at any time. We do not use it for advertising or to identify you, and we do not share the data with anyone else.
• The tools. The tools run entirely in your browser. The journal, mala counter, daily-verse streak and kept verses save their state in your browser’s local storage; nothing about your practice is sent to us, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
• Ask the Dharma. The text you type is sent to our server and on to Anthropic’s API to generate the reflection. We do not store it or attach it to your identity. Anthropic may keep it for up to 30 days under its API data-retention policy and then deletes it; see how long Anthropic stores API data.
• Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
• We don’t sell your data. Ever.
